• What happens when I become a franchisee at STEM?

• How many ppl will you train when I start franchising with you?

  When you start franchising with STEM, the training model allows for two members to avail the training together:

  • The Franchisee: This is typically the business owner or manager who will focus on the business operations, marketing, and overall institute management.
  • A Course Instructor: This is the key teaching staff member who will focus on mastering the “quality course material” and the “legacy training methods” for Abacus & Speed Math.
  • So, you can expect STEM to train a total of two people under this combined training model once your franchisee request is processed.
• Should I pay a seperate franchise fee for Speed Maths?

  You do not have to pay a separate franchise fee for the Speed Maths course.

  The Speed Maths course is included as an add-on to the Abacus Franchise. This is structured to help you generate “value added income as a bonus” without incurring an extra franchise fee cost.

  In essence, by purchasing the Abacus franchise, you automatically gain the right to operate the Speed Maths program as well.

• Should I need to pay any royalty to the Franchiser?

  You do not need to pay any royalty fee to the franchisor. STEM explicitly states, “STEM does not collect any royalty fee from its franchisee.”

  • 100% of the Tuition Revenue is Yours: After covering your operating expenses (salaries, rent, materials, etc.), all the revenue you generate from student tuition (for both Abacus and Speed Maths courses) remains with your institute.

  • Maximum Profitability: This significantly enhances your potential profitability and cash flow compared to franchises that require you to remit a portion of your earnings regularly.

  • Focus on Growth: You can focus entirely on expanding your student base and providing quality education without the overhead of calculating and submitting recurring royalty payments.

• How long is the franchise agreement valid and is there is any renewal fee?

• What is the area covered for a franchisee

  Our policy clearly defines two distinct types of territory rights one a geographical exclusive zone and an unrestricted online access.

  1. Geographical Exclusive Zone (Physical Classes)

  This protects your investment for brick-and-mortar operations and local marketing protected territory around your center. STEM will not place another competing franchise unit within that specified radius. The larger radius for rural areas accounts for the lower population density and wider catchment area required to sustain a business there.

  • Urban Locations: You can lock your desired location and its surrounding area of 3 kilometers (km).

  • Rural Locations: You can lock your desired location and its surrounding area of 5 kilometers (km).

  Global Online Access (Online Classes)

  This leverages the digital nature of the education business to maximize your revenue potential. You “can take students from any location across the globe irrespective of location” if the student is onboarded for online classes. This is a significant competitive advantage, especially since you pay no royalty and renewal fee. You can scale your business globally without impacting the local territories of other franchisees, as the delivery method is different.
